My Little Roller

Auntie Angie requested new pictures be posted to the blog, so I snapped a few this morning. What's new is Ashley's world you ask. Well, today I caught her rolling from her tummy to her back, so I think it's official, she is now a roller- able to go from back to tummy and tummy to back. As you may have also noticed, Ashley is now wearing barrettes. It's a bit nerve racking for me as I find myself doing a constant barrette check to ensure it is still in her hair and not in her mouth. :o)

Ashley's 4 Months Old!

Wow, has it already been 4 months! Ashley is changing every day. She now is rolling over with great speed. She reaches for toys dangling in front of her and everything goes into her mouth. She squeals and sings all of the time. Matt set up Ashley's highchair on Friday and we just had to try cereal for the first time. She seemed to like it. She started grabbing the spoon and cereal was spilling all over her. Of course, we took about 25 pictures of the event. :o)



















This is a picture from this weekend. As many of you know, it was Karl Oscar days in Lindstrom this weekend. We decided to have an impromptu beach party/ BBQ. Ashley couldn't wait to wear her swimsuit, hat and sunglasses which were a gift from mommy's friends Kelly and Karen. Saturday night Ashley got to go spend the night with her Grandpa and Grandma Johnson. She said she had so much fun, she can't wait to spend the night with them again.

Ashley's First Overnight!

Ashley spent the night at Grandma Terry and Grandpa Randy's house on July 3rd! Her very first overnight! G & G said she was a great overnight guest, she slept from 8:40pm to 6:40am. Can't complain about that! What did we do with our night out? We met a group of friends and hit the big town festivities in Forest Lake.




















Another picture of Ashley on the 4th! Other new developments...she is starting to roll from her back to her tummy, but she can't get back over yet and gets pretty mad if you leave her on her tummy.

Playin' Around

Ahhhhh! Here's a picture of Ashley enjoying some tummy time.

























Gina (Ashley's nanny) put together the exersaucer on Friday. Although a few blankets are required to keep Ashley from slipping around it in, she seems to really like it... a bit overwhelming at times but she makes a lot of noises and flails her arms about. And at the last minute, Sadie (the cat) jumped into the picture - she wanted to get onto the internet too.





















As of this weekend, we have now lived in our house for 2 years and we decided, it's about time this place had a fire pit! Here's the picture from this weekends project. I am hoping the concrete dries quickly so we can enjoy a fire tonight after Ashley goes to sleep.
